Take care of your candles
Follow the below guidelines to get the most out of your candle!

-
Burn your candle for at least 2 hours on the first burn, to ensure that the melt pool reaches the sides of the container, otherwise this will cause tunnelling. This causes the wick to sink lower and will cause a tunnel through your candle for the entire burn process, this may also cause the tunnel to grow so deep that the wick wont light at all.

-
Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn, this avoids the smoke if the candle wick is too long.

-
Allow the candle to cool before re lighting, and before trimming the tick

-
Mushrooming may happen on your wick, this is common, just trim it off and light your candle.
-
Always keep the candle away from kids and pets
-
Never leave the candle unattended
-
Recycle when the wax is down to 5mm
-
Never burn the candle for more then 3 hours at a time, this can cause the wax to keep being burnt and loose its scent if continuously melted and re-lit.
-
Keep candles away from direct sunlight and heat sources, this can cause the candle to loose their scent and may discolour. When burning many candles together, place them apart to prevent uneven burning.

-
If the candle creates a black film around the edges, wait until cool, then simply wipe with a damp cloth.
-
Do not burn the candle if the container is cracked, chipped, scratched, or damaged in any way
-
Place candle holders on a heat-resistant surface that is sturdy and large enough to catch any melted wax
